We held our latest IO Workshop on 13 October. Attendees (in alphabetical
order) were Bryce Archer (Woodford Warriors), Rasheel Bhopla (Essex
Met), Macie Blackwell-Hampton (Marshalls), Nera Butcher (Phoenix
Flames), Jenna Given (Essex Open), Amelie Hodgson (Marshalls), Jessica
Hurley (Essex Met), Seanna Rai (Marshalls), Caitlin Roberts (Woodford
Warriors), Kayleigh Schollhammer (Marshalls), Helena Sriskanthan-Riska
(Marshalls) and J’nae Zamore (Leyton). Teams were provided by Essex Open
and Woodford Warriors.

Eight of the attendees had applied to take their IO practical assessment
and all eight were successful-Bryce, Macie, Nera, Jenna, Amelie,
Jessica, Seanna and Caitlin-congratulations!

With Jessica gaining her umpiring qualification, there will be three generations of the Hurley
family umpiring in Essex Met: is this a record?
