At Essex Met Netball County Association we are passionate about helping you in your coaching journey. We believe that first class netball experiences happen through great coaching. We need coaches across the game and our county that can inspire, grow, develop and retain netballers in all the places where netball happens.
Bisi Owolabi is the Essex Met Coaching and Development Secretary; the role is a combination of training the trainer and mentoring, with a focus on supporting the coach. Bisi is a Level 3 Netball Coach and is part of the UK Coaching Safeguarding & Protection of Children workforce team and is part of the England Netball workforce as a Tutor of the UKCC Level 1 & Level 2 qualification. Bisi also tutors England Netball’s technical workshops, such as Walking Netball Host, Bee Netball, and Athlete Identifiers. Bisi is able to provide ongoing support, advice and encouragement to all coaches in Essex Met.
Throughout the season, Essex Met Netball Association delivers a range of Coach Development Programmes which puts the coach at the heart of the development and learning process.

Coach Education Grant | Application Details
The Essex Met Coach Education Grant has been established to support voluntary netball coaches and leaders coaching within the Essex Met County area. Grants will be awarded to individuals who have shown commitment, a willingness to learn and have contributed to netball in Essex Met. Grants are awarded to provide opportunities to further develop and grow your coaching skills in the UKCC Level 1, 2, 3 or an England Netball Technical Workshop. If you are interested in applying for this funding please complete the application form and send to Bisi.

The course consists of 3 virtual sessions of 3 hours spread over 3 different dates. There are 2 days of face to face delivery and 1 virtual professional discussion on a different date, lasting for an hour.
